Hi guys-
Sorry I haven't updated in AGES!!
anyway, i'm super busy with crew and stuff - i'm a cox. that basically means i'm the tiny person who shouts stuff.
it's great. in a way, you could look at life in the way of a crew.
God is the giant coxin, and we are just rowers, facing the wrong way, and we can't see anything. but God can see everything, and so we need to listen to his voice. he is the sole person guiding us in a straight direction...

It reminds me that God isn't abandoning me to a world of endless homework and drama of my peers. He's not finished with me yet, and He is going to use me to make a difference. I just pray that He will help me through it. Please pray for a friend of my twin brother's. She was injured recently when she was hit by a car.

The Passion of the Christ

HI!

Has anyone seen 'The Passion of the Christ'? The movie directed by Mel Gibson? I am going to pretty soon. It's next on my Netflix queue. (BTW, in SE Asia, they almost always call 'lines' 'queues'. Kinda random, I know...)

ANYWAY, anyone seen it? I heard it's pretty INTENSE, and gory. It's rated R.

Trevor is a kitten in Heue Mai Duii, the Thai village I served in this summer. He's an orange tabby.

Sorry 'bout the zoomed outness of the pic. That's Trevor the cat.

Anyway, cute lil orange tabby, virtually a day from death, and my bro, sis, and I fed him! YAY FOR TREVOR!! But the dogs in the village kept trying to eat his food. He fought 'em off! He kept harrassing the local chickens and logs and plants as well. Not to mention the bug population. :)

Anyway, pray for Trevor and his Karen (hill tribe - pronounced Ker-IN) friends!!!

Pray For the Children

This week I've been a small group leader at my church's Vacation Bible School (VBS). The kids are so cute! I have a group of first graders, eight adorable kids who are here because God specifically chose them and loves them.  Through the games, art, stories, and more, they've learned about God, the One who will always love them. Today, the fourth of five days, we had the chance to ask them if they wanted to accept Jesus into their hearts!!!!! SO EXCITING!! Jesus has shaped my life so much, and it was such a privilege to be a part of this!! 7 of my 8 kids chose to, and it was really beautiful. 6 of them couldn't read yet, so we had them repeat after us, and prayed. PRAISE THE LORD!!

God, please guide these children in all that you call them to do, and be with them on their journeys, through the rough patches as well as the smooth, just as you have done for people for thousands of years, just as you have done for me. Thank you, Father, for the little children.

Please bless them.

Guys: please pray for them! This is awesome, and we need to support kids!!
